1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small files that a website saves in your browser. Some are needed for the website to work; others help us understand how the website is used or measure the results of our ads. We also use similar technologies, such as browser storage (sessionStorage), so the same click is not counted twice during one visit.
Cookies can be first-party (set by dentalcatted.ro) or third-party (set by the external services listed below).
2. Your consent and how to withdraw it
On your first visit, the cookie banner shows the categories below, and you can accept or decline each one. Cookies that are not strictly necessary are used only after you consent. If you decline, we do not load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or the Meta pixel.
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before. Your choice is kept for 12 months; after that, the banner appears again.
3. Cookie categories
- Functional (strictly necessary), always active: remember your choice in the banner and help keep the website working and secure.
- Preferences: for settings you choose on the website. The website does not currently use cookies in this category.
- Statistics: show us, in aggregate, how the website is used (pages visited, clicks, errors), so we can improve it. Used by Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity.
- Marketing: measure visits and appointment requests coming from our ads and may be used for personalized ads. Used by the Meta pixel (Facebook, Instagram) and, only when we run Google Ads campaigns, Google Ads.

- _gcl_au · Google Ads (Google) · Marketing · only when we run Google Ads campaigns: measures appointment requests coming from those ads · 90 days.
- YouTube videos load from youtube-nocookie.com only when you click on them; only then can YouTube (Google) save cookies or data in your browser, under its own rules.
- The Google map loads only when you click “Turn on the interactive map”; only then can Google save cookies.
The durations shown are the maximum. You can delete cookies at any time in your browser settings.
5. Providers and data transfers
Google (Google Ireland Ltd.), Microsoft (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.) and Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) may transfer data to the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. You can find details in their policies: Google, Microsoft, Meta.
6. Cookies in your browser
You can also view, block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, some website features (such as remembering your banner choice) will no longer work. Guides:
