Happy New Year, and here’s to a 2026 full of healthy smiles! 🎉 We hope you had a peaceful holiday, with plenty of rest and good moments with your loved ones.
We are recharging our batteries and will be back, ready to start the year with energy, on Thursday, January 8. As the start of this year includes the public holidays of Epiphany and St. John’s Day, the Dental CATTED team will extend the break a little so that we can return fully refreshed.
Opening hours for the first week of January
To help you plan your visits, please note that the clinic will be closed from January 5 to 7.
Here is the detailed schedule:
Monday, January 5: CLOSED
Tuesday, January 6 (Epiphany): CLOSED
Wednesday, January 7 (St. John’s Day): CLOSED
Thursday, January 8: NORMAL OPENING HOURS RESUME (8 AM–8 PM).
Even though we cannot take calls until Thursday, the appointment form on our website works around the clock! We encourage you to fill it out now to get priority for appointments on Thursday and Friday, which will fill up quickly.
“Back to school” and “back to the office” with a clean smile
January is traditionally the month of new beginnings. Students are getting ready to go back to school on January 8, and many of us are returning to the office. After the rich holiday meals (sweet bread, wine, desserts), your teeth need a “reset”.
In January, we recommend that you prioritize:
- A checkup for children before school: Check whether the holidays have left their mark (early decay) and make sure your little ones start the new school term without toothache.
- Professional dental cleaning: scaling and professional polishing will remove stains caused by red wine or coffee and give you that fresh feeling for the new year.
Why book an appointment in January?
Many patients put off their visit to the dentist until spring, but January is in fact the “secret month” of savvy patients.
Better availability: Our schedule is not yet as busy as in the peak months.
Prevention: You deal with the small problems that appeared over the holidays before they become costly emergencies.
A relaxed start: You begin the year by checking off an important task for your health, without stress.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
1. Can I come in for an emergency on 5, 6 or 7 January?
From 5 to 7 January our clinic is closed. For situations that cannot wait, we recommend contacting a dental clinic with an emergency (24-hour) service.
2. When can I call to book an appointment?
Our reception phone line reopens on Thursday, January 8, from 08:00. However, the online form is open now, and our colleagues will process requests in the order they were received on Thursday morning.
3. Are there still slots available on Thursday and Friday?
The first days after we reopen (January 8–9) fill up very quickly. We recommend filling out the contact form on our website today to secure a slot.
4. What should I do if a back tooth hurts after the holidays?
If the pain is bearable, send us an appointment request for Thursday morning. If it is a major emergency (swelling, unbearable pain), please go to an emergency service that is open on these days.
Let’s start the year together!
